deaR diaRy,

i was on the tRain on my way home last evening when i saw a student couple: a guy fRom tpjc and a giRl fRom acjc... wheneveR i see such student couples now, it neveR fail to instill a sense of disgust in me... and i finally undeRstand why schools aRe so conceRn about students behaviouR outside when they aRe in school unifoRm... like even when i see students tucking out theiR shiRt/blouse, it Really Reflects veRy badly on theiR school... but well.. when you'Re a student, most will not think this way...

it bRought back memoRies of weaRing the school unifoRm... the days weRe gone, i'll neveR have a chance to weaR that school unifoRm with pRide again... unless i weaR it at home.. haha..

i loved my pRimaRy school unifoRm.. i was back then in tampines pRimaRy school... the unifoRm compRise of a white blouse that has to be tucked out and a light blue skiRt.. veRy nice.. =) fuRtheRmoRe, my woRRies bout tucking in school unifoRm.. haha...

my fiRst choice was temasek secondaRy, having a sisteR studying theRe was the main Reason foR my choice.. back in my pRimaRy school days, i RegulaRly went to TMS with my sis.. to attend special chinese lessons (wRiting chun1 lian2 and stuff).. peRhaps that's why i like chinese so much(but not chinese studies pls.. it's all china histoRy.. i hate it!) dRifting liao... haha... coming back bout the unifoRm thingy..

as most of you should know, i was in ngee ann secondaRy.. that was my second choice, being too stupid to be able to even get into TMS... NASS was my second choice because i thought the colouR of the school unifoRm was nice(Really!!).. and also because it's neaR my home.. well.. i didn't Really give it much thought.. cos i was too confident that i could get into temasek secondaRy.. if given a second chance, maybe i wun choose ngee ann? heez...

ngee ann's school unifoRm foR the giRls is a light blue blouse, white collaR and a daRk blue skiRt.. hmm.. nice combi.. especially like the collaR being white and the blouse being light blue.. thought it's quite unique.. heez..

i got to know deaR in secondaRy 3/4... thRough IRC.. =p CO channel... i fiRst saw him when Ronglun pointed him out to me duRing NAC 2000.. we fiRst went out togetheR.. uh.. foRgot when.. haha.. but i RemembeR we went to suntec to buy pResent foR a giRl he likes then.. haha.. when we met the second time, we weRe both in school unifoRm..

The chinese high school unifoRm - pathetic khaki colouR shoRts which i thought look Really awful.. =p (tchs fRiends, do not slam me foR this!) and a white shiRt with bRonze button... oh well.. foR the usual kind of neighbouRhood school, ouR boys(yeah.. boys and not man.. haha) weaR long pants in uppeR secondaRy.. when i was out with deaR, couldn't help but think i'm going out with a youngeR bRotheR who's talleR than me.. hahaha...

of couRse, i think that was the only time i eveR went out with deaR with him in that shoRts... =p

as we moved on to jc... i had managed to scRape the bottom vacancy to tj.. hehe.. deaR went into hcjc with outstanding Results... tjc unfoRm - a unifoRm ugly and diRty gReen; hcjc unifoRm - a unifoRm beige colouR...

it was in J1 when deaR and i got togetheR.. by a twist of fate afteR some tRuth telling session.. haha... afteR hiding some facts fRom him foR 1 yeaR? ok ok.. back to main point.. duRing those JC days, we went out togetheR almost eveRyday.. Recalling those days i don't even RemembeR wheRe we went oR what.. but i vaguely RemembeR going to the aiRpoRt at times to study... in ouR school unifoRm.. an awkwaRd combi... a combi of diRty gReen and beige.. heez...

i still RemembeR some 7th duRing jc time when deaR came to fetch me fRom school afteR CO pRactice.. still RemembeR him complaining he was so out of place... a beige in a sea of diRty gReen.. haha.. he was waiting foR me at the bus stop opposite school.. with a laRge bouquet of floweRs in a plastic bag.. in school unifoRm.. =p

of couRse that wasn't the only time he came and fetch me.. and all the times he came, he neveR fail to complain bout being extRa in the sea of gReen.. haha.. oh well.. i neveR have the expeRience of a spot of gReen in a sea of beige though.. =p

and as we move along in life, we gRaduate fRom jc... no moRe unifoRm foR me, while deaR went on to weaR diRty gReen unifoRm in aRmy.. hahaha... well... maybe i'll get to weaR some unifoRm again when i go out and woRk... that depends though.. =)

i love the days of weaRing school unifoRm... i hate to have to think of what to weaR to school eveRyday.. it's such a choRe!! -- one of the Reason why i chose JC oveR poly... the school unifoRm!! duRing the old good days, we dun even have to think bout what to weaR.. eveRy night, it's a standaRd choRe, to take out those school unifoRm and hang it outside foR the next day...
