i ought to take back my woRds now...
i've been veRy occupied with woRk and tuition since i staRted woRking... weekends aRe baRely any time to Rest at all!! but i'm still.. tRying haRd.. to meet up my daRling fRiends wheneveR possible... what little time i have.. this must be the fiRst time since i staRted woRk that i'm eating at home... and daRling mom has cooked all my favouRite dishes.. =p i love u mommy!! =)
i have to blog bout this... shan shan's 21st biRthday!!!! =p shan, Roz and i met up on heR biRthday eve... went foR dinneR at ding tai feng in tampines mall... then went to take neo pRints... heh... the neo pRints weRe veRy nice, but i have no time to scan it in... so just make do with whateveR photos we took using ouR HP.. went foR swenson's ice-cReam afteR dinneR... quite expected... shan's such a fReak oveR ice-cReam.. hahaa..

the 3 couples met up on 9th july, a usual pRactice wheneveR jeff comes back to SingapoRe... went to eat at sushi tei, then ktv again... i felt like i was snatching the mike all the time.. haha... cos i'm a bit depRived of singing... =p
while i'm blogging Right now, wen is still in HK with heR beloved.... i'm quite conceRned bout heR... afteR Reading newspapeR that it's 34/5 degRees celsius oveR theRe and seveRal ppl have fainted of the heat... hmm... wondeR how she's doing... msged heR, but not suRe whetheR she has Roaming oR not... neveRtheless, i'm suRe she's enjoying heRself with heR deaR.... =)
and yes... sutee and jeff has left foR theiR tioman honeymoon this moRning to celebRate jeff's biRthday.... they didn't plan theiR tRip this time Round... but i'm suRe they'll enjoy each otheR's company whetheR oR not theRe's any special pRogRam theRe... =)

well... woRld cup has ended finally... deaR has stopped watching tv... but has gone back to playing dota... -_-" anyway, i'm happy that he's finally leaRning dRiving now... of couRse, not without my nagging foR months... haRz.. he's quite enjoying it now though... =p
school's staRting Real soon.... i've chosen my modules foR the next sem.... but with no backups... aRgh... it's so difficult to fit into my timetable.. one lab session lasts fRom 1pm to 7pm!!!!!!! =( i couldn't take the science gem i want cos of timetable clash... i couldn't choose anotheR cos i'm left with ZERO level 1000 modules that i can take... die... what if i can't gRaduate next yeaR??!! come to think of it, i'll be gRaduating in 10 months!!! gosh!!! how quick that can be!!! and i've alReady owe the bank some little money...
i'm so excited bout the 6 hR pRactical session i'm going to have with my 3 bio students!! =p heez... i've alReady gone thRough a little pRac session with Rachel... it was quite fun... beneficial foR heR as well... i'm suRe we'Re going to have lots of fun in the fiRst week of august... =)
anyway, i've been looking foR jobs that i'm gonna do afteR i gRaduate... and i've found out an alteRnative Route otheR than washing test tubes oR being a boRing school teacheR!! =x i'm gonna be an admin assistant... hahaha... yes... u didn't heaR me wRongly... admin assistant... but no... not the usual kind... but in a ReseaRch lab!!
i was suRfing biopolis webby and saw this position... RequiRement foR the admin assistant position was at least a science gRad.. i'm not expecting to be a scientist with my kind of Results.. but i still wanna do something Related to what i'm studying!! this position actually needs knowledge of biostatistical softwaRe... and knowledge of PCR and stuff.. gosh.. i need to Revise my woRk...
i was thinking, if they employ me, i can woRk theRe foR a few yeaRs, then tRy to apply foR the position of ReseaRch assistant in a hospital.. i saw quite a few positions in the vaRious hospitals... and theRe was even moRe positions in NUH.. yah.. expected i know... but well... i'm Really gonna tRy and fulfil my wish of woRking in a hospital!! =)
till now, we have not yet taken ouR gRaduation/family photo.. fiRst, we couldn't find a studio neaR ouR place.. now that we've found one, we can't find a time when the whole family can make it to take the photo... maybe it'll dRag till i gRaduate next yeaR.. hahaha...
byebye to the last 2 wisdom tooth in a month's time!! i'm actually moRe conceRned bout the financial loss RatheR than the pain... no woRk, no tuition.. and i still need to pay foR all the x-Ray, tooth extRaction, suRgeRy and medication costs... sianz....

haven't Really been involved in the GSS... since deaR and i didn't meet up today, i went shopping alone.. spent 50 bucks.. ok lah.. could have spent much moRe... but i just kept telling myself.. "u ARE bRoke.. u still need to spend money Rebonding uR haiR again... still need to save up foR dec... still need to Repay loan..." psycho-ing myself helped!! to a ceRtain extent... hahaha... but i'm in a good mood afteR spending... so it's woRth it!! =)
