now now... how often do u actually heaR ppl intRoducing themselves this way? it was quite an awkwaRd moment duRing tutoRial.. we weRe supposed intRo ouRselves and why we think we aRe the paRticulaR sex we aRe... and having attend 3 lectuRes on gendeR studies, one will know that one need to look beyond gendeR, but moRe of the biological stuff that defines sex betteR RatheR than gendeR... pRetty fun tutoRial theRe! =p
social woRk tutoRial was pRetty slack... staRted 15 mins late, had a 15 mins bReak, and was Released 20 mins eaRly.. effectively 1hR and 10 mins tutoRial... just listened to the lectuReR/tutoR say some lame stuff.. common sense stuff... i think it's just a waste of time... if not foR the fact that theRe's pRoject woRk.. i would jolly well just skip the Rest of the tutoRials foR the sem since tutoRial aRen't counted foR this module anyway... going pasiR Ris paRk this satuRday foR pRoject meeting on playgRound obseRvation... waste of my time...
fiRst phaRmaco lab today... pRetty boRing... dun even Really know what i was doing.. just following pRotocol.. and all i have to do is to say, "Ready, one, two thRee, staRt!", "Ready, thRee, two, one, wash!" eveRy 30 seconds foR almost 2 houRs.. =x then click on comp.. pRint some stuff and theRe! we weRe done with the pRac.. knowledge gained = 0.
what was fun was not the pRac... but the lab today seemed like a mini-gatheRing.. Reunion foR lab paRtneRs... met quite a few lab mates that i befRiended duRing lab sessions in yeaR 1... but didn't get to see them again maybe cos we weRe in diffeRent batches of lectuRe gRoups.. and seRiously, i like this batch of lab mates SO MUCH BETTER than any lab else... i'm happy in this lab... =)
while we weRe waiting duRing the incubation peRiod, i asked qiu juan whetheR she was in science club oR something like that cos i've seen heR name in emails quite often.. then the Rest went like... SPAM!! and it staRted a whole lot complains of qiu juan spamming ouR mailbox.. hahaha...
see that little beige colouR thingy at the top? that's a guinea pig ileum... one of ouR ileums (ok.. not ouRs.. the guinea pigs') kept contRacting when it's not supposed to... then we postulate that it is undeRgoing spasms.. haha... paRkinsons' disease?? =p
3 pRacticals this week... gosh.. i'm ending school so late eveRyday this week... this is so tiRing... even on wednesdays when i only have 2 lectuRes, i find it haRd to sit thRough both lecs without fidgeting.. kaiyan just have to agRee with me... wondeR how we could actually have continuous lectuRes with no bReaks fRom 8am to 6pm when we weRe in yeaR 1!!! we must be ageing... =x
