thiRd day of the semesteR...
shan went back home yesteRday and i was left alone in the hall... it was my fiRst night out alone! but, as i told my mom, peRhaps i have been used to being left alone at home when my paRents woRk at night, sisteR decides to go heR 2nd home to sleep, and bRotheR comes home duRing the wee houRs of the night/day afteR i am asleep... it didn't felt veRy awkwaRd... pRetty noRmal...
i finally, afteR weeks of my body toRtuRing me, got to sleep in a shoRt time... my body had been quite cRanky these few days... i can lie on the bed on houRs and houRs and not get to sleep... and of couRse, pooR deaR kena wake up calls fRom me at 2/3am in the moRning afteR a pathetic me can't get to sleep afteR lying on the bed foR 3 houRs oR so... i hope that calls the end foR it!!
then again, my stomach has been acting weiRd lately.... eveR since that koRean spicy chicken bowl i had at woodlands food couRt with deaR some time back, i have this tingly pain in my stomach... and this pain only suRfaces afteR i eat something and subsides afteR some time... no.. it's not because i've not been eating RegulaRly... in fact, i dunno why! maybe it was the chili... keep having this spicy feeling in my stomach afteR i eat... and it feels hoRRendous... accompanied is this hoRRible nauseousness and i can just vomit eveRything anytime.... aRgh.... hope it gets betteR...
went centRal libRaRy with deaR today... befoRe that, we went to eat at the make-shift canteen... it was not so bad lah... but my stomach still felt uneasy... the libRaRy was as usual veRy quiet at the beginning of the sem.. and theRe was this guy snoRing so loudy that i felt embaRRassed foR him... =x did some Readings till deaR got so boRed and just packed up his stuff...
we went junyi's Room and chatted foR some time... talk bout lots of stuff... junyi also showed us some geco video clips... gossiped a bit... i'm glad he stays so neaR us... (otheR than his peRsistency in tRying to get us to mingle with the Rest and joining hall activities..) he has been like a big bRotheR, looking out and helping me aRound... thanx junyi! though i dun think u'Re Reading this... =p
shan has been a deaRie!! =) haha... i'm soooooooo glad it's heR i'm shaRing a Room with and not some ppl whom i dunno.. haha... i was expecting some fRiction (afteR all, we'Re seeing each otheR so often)... but till now, it's been fun and nice staying with heR... =) and i'm soooo glad i'm not staying alone... at least i still have some company and not just face the 4 walls... =) and shan's the happy-go-lucky kind of giRl? i just feel so at ease with heR... =) she might be the only fRiend in the woRld i dun feel weiRd oR awkwaRd discussing bout ouR most pRivate stuff... *giggles* hahaha...
i'm expecting much fun with my 2 labs this sem! foR human phaRmaco, we'll be playing with live mice!!! woohoo!! but we have to go foR this tetanus vaccine though.... foR moleculaR biotech, we'Re gonna inject fluoRescent dye into zebRa fish embRyos and eggs! cool!!! get to use cool machines!! micRo needles!! woohoo! actually, i think the labs foR MCB aRe moRe inteResting than the BMS ones... aRgh.. it's too late to have any RegRets though... but still... i hope it'll be an inteResting sem ahead, even if infectious diseases is gonna be Really dRy and boRing... foRensic science lectuRe notes is soooooooo inteResting!! so is the tutoRial!! as if playing CSI in Real life, on black and white... but still, i love it! and lectuRes haven't even staRted.. haha... =x
