we met eaRly in the moRning and took bus down to haRbouRfRont inteRchange... (yeah, still no chauffeuR)..


deaR, looking at the map of the Region, tRying to pin-point the location wheRe Huang Na's body was dumped in the telok blangah hill afteR he attented foRensic science lectuRe with me which had discussed bout the Huang Na's case... =x


alRight! so we weRe at the inteRchange, waiting foR bus 10 to go paRkway.. nope.. we didn't take the wRong bus like we did the last time (we ended up in bedok instead the pRevious time), but bus 10 took FREAKING LONG to come... so while waiting foR ouR public chauffeuR, we ended up taking photos to pass time... =p

so we Reached paRkway and went foR k-lunch at k-box stRaight... with yummy yummy bento set (the Reason why we go kbox at paRkway and not clementi).. we must have not been to kox foR MONTHS! it was shiok singing ouR lungs out.. haha.. especially since i felt like singing afteR the choiR conceRt i attended.. =p gReat time singing, but almost lost my voice afteR that...

because it was till eaRly and we had nothing betteR to do.. (someone as neRd as deaR can't think of any Romantic stuff/ place to do/ go...) like deaR says.. the most Romantic thing he can eveR do foR me is peRhaps to wRite a letteR foR me.. haRz.. even though theRe was no pResent exchange, we exchanged letteRs! =) i like his wRiting... =p

but well, we ended up going to east coast in the hot hot sun...



in east coast... wasn't too bad foR me... otheR than being in heels and weaRing black...



at least betteR than deaR who woRe long sleeve! =p haha.. in this photo, i was tRying to get deaR to act like the coconut tRee is falling on him.. but well.. he's standing a bit too faR lah.. it doesn't look Real enough.. =x

afteR which we took bus down to The Cathay and caught the movie 300.. although it is against my policy to watch movie on a special occasion (theRe's no inteRaction at all! just sit and watch..), but we had nothing betteR to do lah.. and deaR most ceRtainly doesn't want to go shopping with me... so.. yeah...

it was a WONDERFUL movie! just the kind of movie i like.. u know.. ancient gReeks fighting scenes with speaRs and shields.. monsteR looking cReatuRes.. like loRd of the Rings.. i love this kind of genRe.. deaR told me it is based on a comic which is based on a tRue histoRy.. so 300 soldieRs went to fight against millions.. all died, but the spiRit is what i leaRnt fRom it..

neveR give up, neveR suRRendeR. fight foR youR own fReedom!

although theRe weRe some nudity scences and some implicit sexual scences (movie Rated M18).. geneRally the movie is well-loved by me foR theiR stRategy and neveR-say-die spiRit in fighting even though they weRe gReatly outnumbeRed... the lame paRts include seeing fake blood (computeR gRaphics) splashing and disappeaRing when it touches the gRound.. fake bloody scenes, but no blood on the gRound.. a numbeR of scences showing heads Rolling off.. Rotating a few Rounds in the aiR (slow motion), dRopping on the flooR.. all was pRetty lame and funny lah.. but the movie is still woRth watching foR its veRy moRal it is tRying to bRing acRoss... 5 staRs foR it!!! =)

it was alReady 730pm afteR the movie.. and we went to find the RestauRant which was Recommended in foRums undeR a seaRch of "Romantic dinneR".. haha..



of couRse, i was the one who insisted on having a Romantic dinneR... so afteR some help fRom weiqiang, we found this place.. My secRet gaRden (http://www.MySG.com.sg) situated in a Really secRet (ulu?!) place in fRont of the new NAFA...

the outdooR seating is Really quite Romantic loh.. but being ppl who wants to see what we'Re eating, we chose to sit indooRs... =x


my cRayfish and scallop sphagetti.. it was aveRage lah.. and well.. pastamania does seRves betteR pasta than this.. the scallop was not thoRoughly cooked, but it was the biggest scallop i have eaten in my life! i like the cRayfish though...

deaR's cilantRo chicken.. i didn't like this a lot, but deaR likes it pRetty much...


the spaRkling apple i had tastes gReat!! just that the apple taste did not last veRy long.. =x



i pRetty much like the setting.. afteR all, this must be the MOST Romantic dinneR i eveR had with deaR in the past 5 yeaRs (on my Request somemoRe)..

only complain is that the tables weRe SOOOOOOOOOOOO neaR to each otheR that i had to whispeR to deaR when we'Re talking.. luckily those 2 couples on ouR 2 sides left afteR a while..

it was alReady 9++pm afteR we left the place.. went bugis junction and bought cheese sticks cos deaR was appaRently still not full (the seRving at mySG wasn't big).. walked aRound a bit.. then deaR sent me back hall...

i was Really tiRed when i got back hall.. and was Really glad i had Rushed like mad to finish my lab RepoRt (due on fRi) on mon and tue so that i can go have fun without woRRies.. it was a gReat day out.. a good bReak afteR being stuck in school foR so long..
