opps! foR once i actually didn't blogged foR so long... so unlike me eh? =x

i've been busy.. .YEAH! not too long ago, i was complaining bout having too much time on hand.. NOW, i'm too busy... gosh... i'm woRking my lungs out!

afteR i staRted woRk with AyanSYS (not winson as i said pReviously.. 2 companies aRe shaRing one office!), i have been clicking and typing away whole day long..

hmm..

you know what? as i type, i'm Really losing the uRge to blog anything at all....

afteRall, afteR 9 houRs of continuous staRing at the computeR scReen at woRk and fuRiously clicking and typing away, i Really dun feel like using the computeR at all when i come home.. i still foRce myself to.. foR a while.. to check out new job offeRs... but am even lazy to send out emails to apply now... hasn't sent any applications foR quite some time le... but i'm not as gRouchy as i was since i now have a souRce of income...

i think this entRy is gonna be a mess.. i'm so incoheRent in my thinking now..

been jogging with deaR eveRy sunday moRning at bedok ReseRvoiR... i feel moRe healthy now! haha.. but the weight has not gone done a teeny weeny bit at all.. =( and of couRse, enjoy the caR Rides with deaR dRiving...

talking bout dRiving, i think deaR's Right... my "passion" foR wanting to leaRn dRiving has decReased exponentially with the decReasing amount of time i have on hand... deaR said my 3-min-passion will die soon and laughed at me when i bought the final theoRy book to study even befoRe i passed my basic... but now.. hmm... =x

oh hey!! bloggeR saves my entRy itself now!! though i dun have the pRoblem of losing my entRies.. =p

afteR the many many talks bout wanting to go oveRseas but no money, i gave it some thought and decide to Just Spend It. BefoRe the 2% GST Hike!! we actually decided on bintan.. cheap and easy... but i got ambitious and wandeRed off to taipei.. haha.. and kena scolding cos it's been less than 6 months since the last taipei tRip..

deaR suggested shanghai... and deaR dRove us down to china town one sunday noon (so coincidental that day his mom dun need the caR) and we scouted foR good fRee and easy packages.. as usual, afteR 2.5 houRs and having to tuRn back to the caR to put anotheR 1 houR coupon (luckily we did! 5 mins afteR we did, the peRson came to check.. =x the same thing happened last time when we went 85 maRket to eat..), SATouRs still offeR the lowest pRice... but guess what? shanghai tax cost a fReaking 230 bucks!!! soooooooooooooooo ex... and i heaRd austRalia's tax has incReased to 300+ bucks liao.. siao!!

anyway, a 4 D3N Free and Easy Package to Shanghai costs ~$800 BEFORE tax (=$1000+ afteR tax)... and accoRding to the agent, a touR package of 8D7N to Shanghai costs ~$700+ befoRe tax!!!!!!!!!!!! double the numbeR of days but 100 bucks lesseR!!!!!!!!!!!! too bad deaR insists on NOT joining any touR at all...

we actually found a gold coast package that costs bout 500+ befoRe tax! that's cheap!! but deaR says austRalia's the place to go afteR maRRiage with kids... -__-"

so shanghai is out...

taipei is also out...

theRe aRen't much affoRdable place we can go to.. and i dun wanna go bangkok foR feaR of the lack of secuRity theRe.. have been to both hong kong and taiwan within the last 2 yeaRs.. aussie too ex.. malaysia too neaR..

so... we thought of vietnam... deaR's sis had backpacked theRe befoRe... and said we should go too... but one conceRn was the extRemely HOT weatheR theRe...

afteR some thought, i decide to just stick to bintan.. .=x but this time, deaR's mom (who complained bout deaR spending so much money befoRe he eaRns) pRotested and asked us to go vietnam instead... -__- so much foR all the talk about cost saving..

so............

to cut a LONG stoRy shoRt, we should be going to vietnam... even though theRe's nothing much to do theRe.. nothing much to shop...

i just wanna take a bReak out of singapoRe!!!

tentatively set on 5th july to 8th july.. so we can spend 07/07/07 (!!) oveRseas in celebRation of deaR's belated biRthday (cos i can't take leave on his bday itself as my supeRvisoR will be away on honeymoon and i need to coveR heR duties) ouR 64th monthsaRy (hope i didn't count wRongly.. haha) ~ =x

i'm not Rich k... i just wanna go enjoy myself one last time befoRe i staRt on a peRmanent woRk.. then it'll be quite some time befoRe i'll daRe to take leave fRom woRk foR hols...

and now on that woRk thingy...

shan, how can u find a job soooooooooooooooooooooooooo easily?!!?!?!?!?!?!? i've staRted my job seaRch so much eaRlieR than you!!!!!!!!!!! NOT FAIR. HMMPH. I demand ice-cReam tReat! =p

maybe i Really shouldn't have gone into life sciences...
