less than 2 weeks into my new job, i've been to a tea session with the deputy diRectoR of the HR who is veRy conceRned bout how us, the newbies, aRe settling and adapting to the cultuRe theRe..

fRom what i've heaRd so faR, things seem to be pRetty good.. what i like bout this job is they give employees the oppoRtunity to upgRade theiR skills, sending them foR a lot couRses and stuff.. theRe's family day coming up soon.. as well as a fitness week (COMPULSORY physical test completed with Running, stRectches, sit ups and stuff)... dinneR and dance in novembeR...

also, theRe's a childcaRe centRe and a gym Right in ouR own gRounds... and we have many clubs that one can join (dRama club, toastmasteRs club.. so faR heaRd of these..).. wah seh.. like so happening hoR... =x but theRe's a taboo.. staff aRe not to weaR all black to woRk.. cos the eldeRly patients aRe supeRstitous.. and black is not an auspicious colouR... =x

woRk has been tiRing.. phsycially lah.. stand so long.. my hands aRe getting too wRinkled cos of too much washing.. my knees huRt due to too much standing...

and the head of chemistRy keep asking me questions when i least expect it... and ma lu-ed myself when i dunno the answeR... =( i'm so gonna lose to the poly gRad...

i'm leading a life of sleeping at 10pm and waking up at 550am 6 days a week.. even on sundays i'll wake up at 7+, 8am foR the weekly moRning jog.. *yawnz* haRdly have any Rest time... sianz... and tuition takes up my nights and weekends...

hmm...

i've been spending a lot of money lately...

woRking has made me less motivated to save money.. =x

well, at least i no longeR scRimp on lunch... in the past, i will neveR spend moRe than 4 bucks on one lunch at woRk... usually i only spend 2 bucks on lunch.. and i'll not buy any dRinks to save that few cents.. now, i dun Really caRe anymoRe.. and i buy dRinks foR myself foR lunch eveRyday.. =p

but the thing is, i have been eating alone these 2 weeks... sianz... staggeRed lunch time, difficult to find company foR lunch... =(

i have finally found the paiR of DMK shoes with my size afteR combing all the Isetan outlets in singapoRe.. then DMK outlets... and finally found it in BHG.. =p left 2 paiRs of coveRed shoes (1 old, 1 new) in the lab... heh.. just bought a new paiR to weaR in the lab only... =x

i wanna go shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. i think i'm shelving my plans to Repay the loan so soon... i Realise i can't affoRd to... =x
with my spendings these days...

p.p.s soRRy deaR, no biRthday pRessie foR ya... =x Really, i can't get myself botheRed with biRthdays anymoRe.. not even foR my deaR... so deaR fRiends, dun complain.. =x
