i have passed my final theoRy test (on fiRst attempt k)!!! just booked online foR my pRactical test.. which is gonna be on 14/03/2008... such a long time away!!! and the stupid thing is that my PDL is going to expiRe 7 days befoRe the test.. so i have no choice but to spend $$ to Renew then... sianz...

i'm given a lot of oppoRtunities at woRk.... which i'm Really glad foR... but sometimes.. i feel that i'm being pushed to my limits too much... noRmal tRaining foR my position takes 6 months.. because of the lack of manpoweR, they'Re multi-tRaining me at the same time foR diffeRent stuff with less than 3 days in each section that i'll have to handle alone in futuRe... HOW CAN??? i felt Really doubtful of my own skill still... when LC gave me the chance to Read and count the blood films and validate the Results.. i was like, suRe not.. u want to count again to make suRe? =x

by the way, i'm now a qualified phlebotomist! =) me! me! i'll help to take youR blood!! =p

my days aRe packed with tRaining xia... just today foR instance, i had the moRning tRaining in uRine bench... and befoRe i'm Really familiaR with the micRoscopy woRk (damn, i find it Real haRd to diffeRentiate WBC and RBC undeR 10x without staining, and i'm Really still not veRy familiaR bout the pRotocol dealing with fluids), in the afteRnoon, i was alReady tRaining foR the thalassemia machine...

speaking of which, i'm Really Really gRateful to uncle (a veRy senioR peRsonnel in the hieRaRchy, and that's wat eveRyone calls him) foR giving me the chance to pRove myself... =) i'm gonna be the key opeRatoR foR the machine! doesn't that sound so COOL??

and guess wat?! the machine woRks on HPLC, which is wat my yeaR 2 open lab was about, and which is also wat i quite like in my whole life sciences cuRRiculum!! =) =) =) though the inteRpRetation is gonna be diffeRent cos i've neveR studied thalassemia.. but well, i'm enjoying the pRocess of leaRning... =)


my students have got back theiR Results and i must say i'm pleased with theiR impRovement... =)

and yah...
