i have a love-hate Relationship with night shifts...

i hate night shifts.. it disRupts my body clock.. disRupts my daily Routine.. 1 night shift RendeRs 3 days gone.. sleeping the whole day befoRe and afteR the night shift... it makes me tempeRament due to the lack of sleep.. i feel sick afteR eveRy night shift.. my skin feels dRy and hoRRible afteR night shifts.. i get aRRthymia in the moRning afteR my night shift... i feel dizzy, dehydRated... it's a hoRRible feeling...

yet, i love night shifts... woRk is at a sloweR pace (unless theRe's a bloody bleedeR who keeps asking foR blood eveRy 5 mins).. i leaRn moRe bout the instRument.. i have time to Read up the textbooks in the lab.. and time to cRap with the paRtneR (pRovided the peRson is someone i can clique with)... sing loudly in the lab and gRinz at the national anthem played on the Radio eveRy 6am.. we get night shift pRemium (no matteR how little it is), as well as meal allowance (which is not even enough to buy a meal in the food couRt).. 2 nights = 1 extRa off day.. and i get moRe days off to accompany my mom at home...

conclusion?

i have no idea... =x

what i know is, my passion in the job is decReasing exponentially.. especially when the RosteR planneR beaRs a gRudge against you and makes life difficult foR you... luckily i could still seek help fRom uncle..

took uRgent leave yesteRday to accompany mom to see the doc... she's much betteR... CRP dRopped fRom 170+ to only 3.. ESR dRopped fRom 60+ to 27.. still high, but definitely much betteR than befoRe.. she could now cut down on medication, no doubt still a lot, at least lesseR than befoRe.. and a few blood tests cost a whopping 80 bucks!!! that's like damn ex lah! my aunt did A LOT (and i mean, A LOT) of blood tests in malaysia and cost only 100 Ringgit.. so cheap!! i told my mom to go theRe and test eveRything.. heh.. to think when i take my blood in the lab (foR fun sometimes), i always oRdeR almost eveRy tests (except foR the hoRmones lah)... i could have been chaRged at least a good 400bucks loh.. =x

i took leave foR almost the whole month of May! =) =) =) 1st to 25th May... hehe... long hols foR me!!! =) so looking foRwaRd to May... may the month of May come soon!!!!
