the fiRst day (night) back at woRk...

was not so bad.. just had to babysit my paRtneR... haRz.. and my account passwoRd was expiRed... had to call helpdesk to Reset passwoRd... then when i tRied to centRifuge some blood sample, i caused a poweR failuRe in half the hospital. =x one instRument went dead, connection was lost, Results couldn't be tRansmitted.. luckily the poweR came back soon afteR i called utility.. but still had to spend a lot of time RecoveRing the instRument and the connection..

i was on the haemato side.. blood bank was Really quiet the whole night (which i was gRateful foR).. haem was okay too.. but somehow i keep feeling busy the whole night.. maybe cos i had to do all the oRdeR entRy and still guide my paRtneR (who's many many many moRe yeaRs moRe expeRienced than me) to do his woRk.. Received this 15 yR old giRl's blood to do hCG test.. and was Really shocked to see it tuRn positive.. pRegnant at 15 yeaR old?? incRedible..

second night was my tuRn to be in biochem.. befoRe i Reached, i was hoping the uRine won't be as many as the night befoRe.. the fiRst thing when i Reached, LC handed oveR to me with this sentence.. "ay, got fluid leh.." -_-" well done. it was knee fluid.. and eRm.. i had to RefeR a bit to my notebook to do the calculation.. foRgot liao..=x otheR than that, the night went by RatheR peacefully.. till afteR 6am when samples, specifically uRine, staRts pouRing in.. daRn.. i saw quite a numbeR of uRine with cRystals! beautiful! =x and one was seRiously infected with yeast cells lah.. i had to use the neat sample to Read...

in essence, i'm RatheR amazed by myself.. i haven't foRgotten too much stuff.. haha..

thinking of going gaRy's conceRt.. so faR, i've only been to jay chou and JJ's conceRt.. but this time Round, cos of my unknown woRk schedule, i can't plan in advance..

talking bout that makes me angRy.. i applied leave next month foR my dRiving test.. it's on a wednesday.. yet the RosteR shows i'm on night on monday and tuesday.. which means i end woRk wednesday moRning? and my test is at 11am? CRAZY. my pRobability of passing is alReady 10%, going foR the test afteR 2 night shift dRops the chances to 1% of passing loh!! and it's Really difficult to change the schedule cos i have to change 6 days in a Row (2 nights and 1 night off x2).. need to find someone willing to change with me, take my nights, and i'll take the otheR peRson's nights... luckily uncle settled it foR me.. my next night will be... NEXT WEEK... sianz..

i can't get my mind of tRavelling!!! though this tRip was supposed to be my last tRip till maybe 4 yeaRs lateR, i think it won't be.. =x i am thinking of moRe exotic places (hehe..), but the soaRing pRices may make me end up in ouR neighbouR's teRRitoRy.. =x but Really, i ought to have moRe self financial contRol to affoRd my EA... and hopefully a small caR (afteR i get my license) in 3-5 yeaRs time..
