Minds cafe with the docs and the teacheR.. =p had a gReat time theRe.. and it's nice to chat with ppl who talks the same language as you! like not having to explain what t&s means.. =) oh, and i was boRed enough duRing my night shift to seaRch ny and ky's name in ouR doc database.. theiR names aRe theRe! how cool! i'm so pRoud to have them as my fRiends.. haha..
would have moRe meet-ups if these docs aRen't so difficult in finding time in theiR hectic schedule.. oh well, the teacheR's RatheR busy too! heh..
went East Coast PaRk foR a cycling/ bladding/ jogging session with the gang on NDP... the theme was, Red and white!

we just met up few days befoRe NDP foR a meal and gossip session.. too bad cc couldn't join us foR the ECP outing...
don't we just look like the flag in ouR colouRs? =p
and we weRe patRiotic enough to Recite the pledge on the oveRhead bRidge at 8.22pm.. LOL.. ok.. maybe just wen and me.. hahah..
because he isn't a good cyclist, he only joined us foR dinneR on NDP that day.. but just one week afteR NDP, on my off night (with lack of sleep cos i only got home in the moRning), he dRagged me out of bed foR anotheR cycling tRip... this time, we went changi beach...
PCN (PaRk connectoR NetwoRk) pitstop in changi was wheRe we staRted, with bikes pRiced at only 6bucks foR 2 houRs, it was a steal! the plan was to Ride fRom changi beach to ECP...
the weatheR was gReat that day.. no sun.. windy... and as you can see.. the Route was quite deseRted too! GOOD. i do not like cRowds when cycling..
we went past heRe... and of couRse the nice sceneRy of changi beach.. which was just a shoRt poRtion of the whole tRip though..
and heRe... Really nice place, wide lanes foR cycling.. i was alReady planning to get the Rest to cycle this Route the next time we go cycling...
this supeR longggggggggggg stRetch was just beside the changi aiRpoRt Runway!! we weRe cycling paRallel to the Runway.. competing with planes taking off.. watching planes landing as we cycle.. haha.. not much sceneRy otheR than the planes, but this was a REALLY LONG STRAIGHT ROAD.. too long.. and too stRaight.. we must have been on this long stRaight Road foR at least 45mins oR something like that... it feels that long anyway..
eventually, we got to ECP, and the cRowds weRe hoRRifying.. a staRk contRast to the empty Roads eaRlieR... we weRe just a shoRt cycling distance away fRom the PCN pitstop in ECP wheRe we weRe supposed to RetuRn the bikes.. neaR the chalets, wheRe theRe's a tuRn with a choice of anotheR Route with a slight slope.. i asked wheRe he wants to cycle, he says up ahead wheRe theRe's lesseR ppl..
i went ahead fiRst.. and was almost Reaching the chalets when i tuRned back to see no one theRe.. i immediately did a U-tuRn, i thought that he had stopped to wipe his sweat (again).. as i cycled back, i saw him walking and pushing his bike.. i thought the bicycle chain came off (it happened almost eveRytime we go cycling) and was sneeRing at him when he told me he fell down...
and theRe i saw blood tRickling down his leg.. blood.. a lot of blood... his knees, hands, elbow coveRed in diRt and blood... i was flusteRed.. we didn't had any wateR on us, and only had maybe half a pack of tissue... while fRantically tRying to stop the bleeding (which was quite bad), we weRe 15 mins away fRom the 2 houRs limit.. of couRse that wasn't the impoRtant thing now... i Rode at my fastest to the chalet and got wateR, seRviettes (they dun have tissue packets) and a small pack of plasteRs (that's the only one they had) foR 7bucks!! i thought it was atRiously ex, but i couldn't caRe less cos cleaning up his wound was moRe impoRtant...
went back, litteRed the whole place with bloody tissues and seRviettes, cleaned up the place... the impact was so gReat that the whole bRake bRoke off fRom the bicycle.. the chain came off too.. we walked a distance.. then i tRied to fix the chain back.. thankfully i managed to, and we Rode VERY SLOWLY back.. walking will take foReveR...
we weRe an houR late when we RetuRned the spoilt bicycle.. and thankfully, they knew he fell, so theRe was no penalty at all.. nice bunch of ppl theRe.. cabbed back to my place to cleaned up fiRst.. then accompanied him to a doc to clean the wound of the taR fRom the Road..
and theRe, pooR him got a wound that's still not healed alReady 2 weeks afteR the accident..
my paRents weRe so conceRned bout him lah.. keep calling me to find out bout his condition...
oh well, baRely a week lateR, with pus still coming out of the wound, the guy wants to go cycling again... NO WAY MAN..
ok.. that's the end of the cycling story..
met up with shan and Roz twice too.. befoRe and afteR the US tRip... hey, next time we should RemembeR to take pictuRes k!!
met up with kaiyan... and heaRd lots of juicy gossips... like how one of ouR JC classmate (a giRl) is alReady maRRied with kids (shot gun, =x), how anotheR (guy) actually had a malay bf..... it was infoRmation oveRload foR me.. too much shocking news at one go lah!
and foR those who doesn't know, i've been accepted into the specialist diploma couRse in SP... haem and bb.. i was quite disappointed yan didn't joined too (we'Re woRking in quite the same field), cos we would have become classmates again!! well, she doesn't think she'll stay in this field foReveR, wheReas foR me i just felt anotheR ceRt is no haRm to me.. and, although i Really hate to admit, i supposed i will still be stuck in this job foR some time cos i just DO NOT LIKE to go foR inteRviews...
because i'm going back to school.. and cos i'm woRking on a RatheR big pRoject at woRk...
i bought a lappy!! a netbook actually.. on much impulse! i have been actually thinking bout it foR 2 yeaRs alReady.. but i bought it quite much on impulse.. foR just S$631, it's a deal, but i'm not a peRson who likes to spend this kind of money.. =( especially when i just bought a new paiR of nike spoRts shoes woRth S$135 to Replace the Reebok one that i spoilt and thRew away in US.. i dun Really believe in getting one (netbook) actually, afteRall, i went thRough uni education without one.. you could say he coeRced me into buying!! he did all the ReseaRch.. on the bRand, functionalities etc.. i just went theRe and paid, without knowing what bRand i'm buying oR whatsoeveR.. =x but so faR so good, i'm loving it!! heh... it's officially called my 宝贝!! veRy small and light.. i like!
and he veRy sweetly got me this veRy pRetty mouse that matches so well with my 宝贝! the mouse actually have a leatheRy textuRe.. and it lights up! comes with waRRanty of 3 yeaRs somemoRe.. though i think i'll just get a new mouse if this is spoilt.. meanwhile, i love it! =)
that's bout what's happening... school will staRt 3Rd week of octobeR.. and meanwhile, i got to finish my woRk pRoject befoRe school staRts... once school staRts, i think i won't have time foR anything else at all...
been finding a lot of wRinkles aRound my eyes.. and my eye bags.. oh my eye bags.. what can i do about them? =( i want a sponsoRed life time facial package! anyone? LOL.. i think i look like i'm 30 alReady... =(
